As per Section 98(a) Road Traffic Regulations of Brunei Darussalam, all commercial and professional drivers must undergo periodic medical examinations and obtain a medical fitness certificate in order to apply for driving license (new or renewal).
The aim of the assessment is to ensure that drivers meet certain health standards to safely operate commercial vehicles, thereby promoting road safety for all motorists.
