April 30, 2024 – Marking the World Day for Safety and Health at Work, the Safety, Health and Environment National Authority (SHENA) @shena.gov.bn proudly launched the inaugural Workplace Safety and Health Conference (WSHCON) 2024 at the International Convention Centre, Berakas.

Under the theme, ‘Navigating Climate Change’s Impact on Workplace Safety and Health,’ the spotlight shines on the influence of climate shifts on workplace dynamics, emphasizing the paramount importance of worker safety and well-being.

The event was graced by Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Major General (R) Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof, Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Minister of Defence II, who also serves as the Minister in Charge of SHENA, gracing the occasion as the Guest of Honour.

Moreover, Kare Occupational Health Specialist Clinic Brunei had the opportunity to participate as one of the event booths showcasing our services, while our specialist, Dr. Balalla, seized the opportunity to share expertise as one of the distinguished speakers.
